AdKickX hosts, serves and measures HTML5 and image ads for advertisers and the websites that show them. This page explains what data we collect when an ad is shown or clicked, why, and how long we keep it.
People who see our ads
When a website shows an ad served by AdKickX, we record:
- which ad, campaign and placement was shown, and when;
- the page the ad appeared on (the referrer) and your browser's user agent;
- your country, worked out from your connection — never a precise location;
- whether the ad was on screen long enough to count as viewed, and whether you tapped or clicked it.
We do not store your IP address, and our ad frames do not set cookies. To limit how often the same person sees an ad, we keep a one-way hash of your IP address and browser in memory for the current day only; it is never written to our database.
If you click an ad, we record the click and send you to the advertiser's website. An advertiser may tell us that a click later led to a sign-up or purchase. We receive only the event and our own click reference — no name, email or other personal details.
Why we collect it
To deliver ads, count impressions and clicks accurately, filter out bots, cap how often an ad is shown, and give advertisers and websites reports on how their campaigns perform.
How long we keep it
- Individual ad views: 60 days.
- Individual clicks: 180 days.
- Daily totals (counts per campaign, placement and ad, with no per-person data): kept for reporting.
Our clients
Advertisers and websites that use AdKickX sign in with an account we create for them. We store their username, the campaigns and ads they upload, and a session cookie that keeps them signed in. Each client can only see their own campaigns and reports.
Who processes the data
We do not sell data or share it with data brokers. We use a small number of providers to run the service: Cloudflare (network, DNS and ad file storage) and Railway (application hosting and database, Singapore region). Each client sees reports only for their own campaigns.
Your choices
Because we do not store IP addresses or set cookies, we usually cannot link stored ad data back to you. If you have a question or a request about your data, email us and we will help.
